Struggle Update
11.14.06 (5:12 pm) [edit]Just thought you guys might like to know that I'm not going to drop the history class. I talked with the prof today and I have better understanding now of why I'm not making the grades I want in there. Just got to get down and dirty with it for this test.
Also, I've decided to go ahead and go to Spain this summer. I'm really scared; I'm skipping the sophmore level Spanish courses and taking one junior and one senior level course during the trip. That will definatly need some prayer in the month of July. My trip period will need prayer.
Since I've decided to go to Spain I need to come up with the funds to go. I wasn't planning for going for another year, so... yeah. I'm about $1,000 shy of the base cost, plus spending money, so I'd say... a nice chunk of money. I've brain stormed on possible solutions to said problem and here's what I've got so far: 1) go back to work at old job over Christmas holidays (check: boss called this afternoon and offered it to me; where God sends He provides!) 2) ask for little else than funds for Christmas (check ... sort of: need to send out a mass bulletin to all the relatives) and 3) give tennis lessons over break (check... mostly: currently in the works; all I need now are students lol). If anyone has any further ideas, just shoot those out! I told my dad I'd sit under a bridge with a sign reading, "Hungry (for education) War vet (tennis and GPA contests) Will play tennis for cash. God bless!" He said that I'd probably be ran over, but who could resist that sign, tell me?!

Ok -- glad you talked to your history prof and got things straightened out.
Spanish is a good language to learn. I hope you can get the money together and go on the trip.
